BT are idiots

This week I have had the unfortunate pleasure of having to speak to someone in BT's callcentre. Bet you can guess where this post is going already...

I like paying bills online. I logged in to pay our last phone bill online, to discover that for some reason the new account never got added after we moved. So I set it up, and got a message saying bills/calls etc would be viewable 'within 48 hours'.
Four days later and there's still no sign of any details. So I phoned customer services, and had a frustrating conversation with a very nice Indian lady who didn't understand what I was saying and didn't know how to help anyway.
In the end she decided it would take 5 working days to setup, and that I should have recieved some emails and blah-de-blah. Fine, you're wrong, but whatever.

So I gave up and paid the bill in the Post Office. Even that wasn't without drama though, as for some stupid reason BT won't let you pay bills with a credit card (yet they will online, hmm). Urgh.

As for the online account, I figured that one out - typo on the account number. Ooops.
Even that's not easy to fix - can't edit the account number, so I figured I could delete it and try again. Oh no, can't do that... got a nice message in angry red text saying to ring customer service and get them to deal with it. Bloody hell :( Not got the energy or patience to attempt that one just yet
